Traditional acupuncture is a comprehensive holistic medical system that considers a person as an integrated whole, acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. It is suitable for people of all ages and may be effectively combined with standard medical treatments to address a wide array of health concerns.

Acupuncture involves inserting fine needles at specific body points to trigger the body's natural healing responses. Other techniques, including cupping, gua sha, or moxibustion, may be used if deemed suitable. During the treatment process, your tongue may be examined to assist in selecting acupuncture points, so it is recommended that you avoid cleaning or scraping your tongue before the appointment.

Many individuals who receive acupuncture on a regular basis report enhanced vitality and noticeable improvements in overall health, empowering them to take a more active role in their personal well-being.

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) represents a cutting-edge advancement in dental hygiene, offering a far gentler alternative to traditional cleaning techniques. By harnessing innovative AirFlow® technology, GBT effectively removes biofilm from the mouth. This process uses a delicate stream of air, pleasantly warm water, and a finely formulated powder to gently lift away biofilm and surface stains from teeth and gums. The result is a thorough clean that not only brightens your smile but also helps to minimise the risk of tooth decay and gum disease.

GBT can safely be used on natural teeth, dental implants, braces and restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, as well as the tongue and gums, all while prioritising the health and comfort of every patient. Many of our longstanding patients have found regular hygiene maintenance with GBT greatly reduces the need for further dental treatment.

In the realm of dental hygiene, Guided Biofilm Therapy truly represents the most advanced and patient-friendly option available today.

Individuals experiencing anxiety, TMJ disorders, headaches, or similar concerns may choose to include ear acupuncture as part of their treatment for an additional £20.
